Last Monday, a resident of the city of San Francisco (Argentina) notified the local Police about the theft of the image of the Virgin of Lourdes that was in the grotto of Pasaje Martín Fierro.
Immediately, the Catholic community launched a campaign on social networks to locate her: “The little virgin of Our Lady of Lourdes was stolen from us… Please help us find her,” the message said.
After a series of inquiries, the Police learned that the sculpture had been purchased by a neighbor who, upon learning of the situation, spontaneously got in touch to return it.
