Argentina: They will distribute in schools a book on the thought of Pope Francis

The Government of the Province of Buenos Aires (Argentina) will distribute in public and private schools the book “The teacher. The humanism of Pope Francis”, an initiative that seeks to keep his legacy alive and transmit his thinking to the new generations.

In the presentation of the book, prepared by the General Directorate of Culture and Education of the Province, Governor Axel Kicillof, and the Archbishop of La Plata (provincial capital), Mons. Gustavo Carrara were present.

The book seeks to keep alive the legacy of the Argentine pontiff who died on April 21. With this initiative, said the governor, his thinking will be present in all schools in the province of Buenos Aires.

The general director of Culture and Education, Alberto Sileoni, reminded Francisco as an “educator who transmitted his teaching through ideas and gestures, promoting throughout his life the pedagogy of inclusion and encounter”, collects the Argentine newspaper The nation.

Religious referents participated in the book, such as Mons. Carrara and Fr. José María Di Paola, and the pedagogue Adriana Puiggrós, who offered his reflexive gaze on the papacy of Jorge Bergoglio.
