The Education Commission of the Argentine Episcopal Conference shared the steps taken within the framework of the path towards an Argentine Educational Pact, a search for consensus between different sectors that prioritizes the new generations.
To do this, it went back to 2019, when Pope Francis spoke about a “global educational emergency” and summoned representatives from the world to Rome to sign a common commitment, aimed at building a Global Educational Pact.
The members of the Episcopal Commission accepted the Pope’s invitation in 2022 and launched it at the service of public education in Argentina, where for decades education has faced difficulties that compromise the present and future of millions of children, adolescents and youths.
