The blessing was carried out by the Auxiliary Bishop and Vicar General of Buenos Aires, Mons. Gustavo Carrara, and representatives of evangelical communities.
With the motto “Jesus is born in the neighborhood,” the Santa Magdalena Sofía Barat parish also celebrated with those most in need, with a dinner by the group of young people participating in the Night of Charity.
Around 80 young people organized the event, led by local priests. The parish vicar, Father Pablo Favilla, valued the importance of “always being able to gather around the table,” especially with the people most in need. “We are a big family,” he added, in dialogue with Canal Orbe 21.
Father Javier Klajner, parish priest of the place, highlighted that for 11 years the Christmas mission has been carried out with young people from the school and the parish. In this special dinner, the Night of Charity and Cáritas services come together, working with the collaboration of the entire community.
