“Adults have denounced before the competent authorities to Monsignor Carlos María Domínguez for undue actions inflicted against them, causing the effective resignation of the aforementioned bishop,” The Diocese reported in a statement Extended this Thursday.

Mons. Domínguez had assumed the episcopal headquarters of San Rafael on February 11, 2023 after the resignation of Mons. Eduardo María Taussig in December 2021 due to a long conflict in the diocese derived mainly from the decision to close the Santa María Madre Mother Seminary of God in 2020.
