Following a complaint of alleged abuse and for the purposes of its investigation, the Bishopric of Lomas de Zamora communicated the decision to suspend a priest from the exercise of his ministry, removing him from his position and from all ecclesiastical tasks.
This is Father Daniel Amado Martín Bustamante, who served as parish administrator of Nuestra Señora de Fátima, in the city of Lomas de Zamora, and had recently been appointed as the new parish priest of Nuestra Señora de Lourdes, in the town of Claypole.
In your statement, the Bishopric reaffirmed its “inalienable commitment to reject any act that threatens the dignity of people.” For this reason, and in light of the complaint against the priest, it was decided to follow the corresponding protocol “for the purposes of carrying out an investigation process to clarify the facts.”
