A relic of Saint Therese arrived at the Diocese of Quilmes (Argentina) where it can be venerated within the framework of the 150th anniversary of the saint’s birth, and the centenary of her beatification.
It is a pilgrim relic that began its journey in Lisieux (France) and travels through different dioceses.

Until June 10, the relic was visiting the Catechist Worker Sisters of Jesus Sacramentado, and on Tuesday it was at the Mary Queen of the Apostles Seminary, where the clergy was gathered.
On Wednesday the 12th and Thursday the 13th it will be exhibited for veneration in the Santa Lucía parish, in Florencio Varela, and on Friday the 14th and Saturday the 15th it will be in the San Juan Bautista parish, in the same town.
On Sunday June 16 and Monday June 17, the relic will visit the San Francisco Javier parish (Calle 278 esq. calle 395, Barrio San Francisco, Florencio Varela), while on Tuesday the 18th and Wednesday the 19th it will be in the Nuestra Señora de Luján parish ( Av. Perón 1910, Zeballos).
On Thursday the 20th, the parish community of Nuestra Señora de la Esperanza will receive her, where she will remain until Friday the 21st (Int. Roselli 3865, Barrio La Esmeralda, Florencio Varela). Who is Saint Therese of Lisieux?
Saint Teresa of the Child Jesus was born in the French city of Alençon, on January 2, 1873, her exemplary parents were Luis Martin and Acelia María Guerin, both saints.
Upon entering Carmel she asked to be called Sister Teresa of the Child Jesus and the Holy Face, offering herself to God as her instrument.
Teresa tried to give up imagining and pretending that the Christian life consisted of a series of great undertakings, and instead, willingly and with good spirits, travel “the path of the child who falls asleep without fear in his father’s arms.” .
At the age of 23 he fell ill with tuberculosis; and he died a year later, on September 30, 1897, in the arms of his Carmel sisters.
