Mons. José Adolfo Larregain was born in the province of Buenos Aires on April 3, 1966.
He was ordained a priest in the Franciscan order of the younger brothers on March 19, 2004 and appointed by Pope Francis Auxiliary Bishop of Corrientes on March 21, 2020.
He received episcopal ordination on June 29, 2020 from the hands of Mons. Andrés Stanovnik. On September 27, 2024, the Pope appointed him Archbishop Coadjtor de Corrientes.
At the Argentine Episcopal Conference he is president of the Episcopal Commission of Pastoral of Migrants and Itinerant. His episcopal motto is “we are witnesses.”
