In the solemnity of the announcement and celebration of Children’s Day to be born, this March 25, the Catholic Church in Argentina and the provida movements remember the value of life that begins in conception.
Within that framework, the National Secretariat for the Care of Life Life and Children, a member of the Episcopal Commission for Life, Lay and Family, issued a statement in which it invites “contemplating the unfathomable mystery of human life that is presented to us in the concrete life of the child to be born within his mother, but that is also projected in so many lives that claim help, support and accompaniment”:

“We want to especially thank all those who assumed the challenge of caring, accompany maternity in vulnerability contexts, the child to be born, the child in their first months of life, to women who have suffered the injury of abortion,” says the letter.
He also ensures that “the announcement of a tender and merciful love is present in all these services and drives us to continue testifying an attentive and solicitous church.”
“This Church in exit announces once again the eminent dignity of all human life, independent of its circumstance. It is a palpable and real certainty that we recognize in the experience of being close, melee with the fragility of the newborn, her mother and her family,” he adds.
Therefore, it emphasizes that “the unrestricted respect of this dignity is the basis of any fair social order, which is at the service of all people so that their lives can develop and express themselves in all their fullness and beauty” and yearn for “that our mother’s ‘fiat’ is a guide for our steps.”
Mass of the child to be born
As every year when commemorating this date, on Tuesday, March 25 at 6:00 p.m., the Mass of the Child’s Mass will be held in the Metropolitan Cathedral of Buenos Aires.
“With the permanent commitment to defend human life from conception, prayers will rise for awareness about its value,” says the invitation.
“In the same way, initiatives for the protection of life will continue to be encouraged from conception to natural death, and entrusted to Mary Mother of Mercy, will be prayed by mothers,” he says.
Life march
The 10th march for life, which takes place every year in commemoration of children to be born and in support of life from conception, will take place in Buenos Aires and other cities in Argentina on Saturday, March 29.
In the city of Buenos Aires, the call is at 2:00 p.m. in Plaza Italia, with the motto #Argentina Esprovida.
Among the cities that have already joined the initiative are Resistencia (Chaco), San Fernando del Valle de Catamarca, Mendoza, Punta Alta (Buenos Aires), Rio Grande (Tierra del Fuego), Salta, San Luis, Santiago del Estero, San Miguel de Tucumán, Ushuaia (Tierra del Fuego), Unquillo (Córdoba), La Rioja, General Alvear (Mendoza), San Rafael) Rivadavia (Chubut), Bahía Blanca (Buenos Aires).
