Criminals caused damage to an old door when they broke into the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, in the city of Buenos Aires (Argentina). Fortunately, the sacred objects were not stolen or damaged, and only four standing fans were taken.
The robbery occurred on the night of Saturday, December 16, in the Basilica, located in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Barracas, when unknown persons broke the glass of a large barred door and then tore off part of an old, large wooden door and an important architectural value.
The Basilica is run by the congregation of the Priests of the Sacred Heart, also known as Betharramite or Bayonese fathers.
