Argentina: Córdoba will host the seminar of the Sacred Heart of Jesus

The city of Córdoba (Argentina) will host the Seminar of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, a proposal for the formation, prayer and communion carried out by the priests of Honia.

It is an encounter that seeks to deepen the spirituality of the heart of Jesus as a source of repair, fraternity and commitment to today’s world.

The appointment is from September 11 to 13 at the headquarters of the Catholic University of Córdoba, with the coordination of the priests of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (Dehonians)-Argentine-Paraguay-Uruguay (APPO) province, with the collaboration of the World Popular Prayer Network (Argentina, Chile and Uruguay).

During the three days, the seminar will offer spaces for theological reflection, liturgical celebrations, participatory workshops and moments of community prayer, focused on the question: how to live and announce today the repair and merciful love of the heart of Jesus?

This seminar was born as a result of the route from the webinars of the Sacred Heart made between 2020 and 2024, in the words of P. Arildo José Ferrari, Superior Provincial of the Province Apu, “it is the result of a shared path that was born in response to the pain of the world in pandemic, and that today is consolidated as a sign of communion between congregations, cultures and generations that wish to return to the heart.”

The call is aimed at members of religious congregations, secular communities, teachers, pastoral agents, youth and parish leaders, with participants already confirmed from various religious provinces, diocese, educational centers and movements of Argentina, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay.

Thanks to the support of the Province of the United States of the priests of the Sacred Heart, lodging and food scholarships for young people and agents of vulnerable communities are being managed, guaranteeing a diverse and inclusive participation.
