Argentine Cardinal Estanislao Esteban Karlic celebrates today, February 7, 99 years of life. The lonetic purple of the continent – and the second in the world – turned 70 years of priesthood in December, a long way in which his ministry stands out as archbishop of Paraná, president of the Episcopate, and one of the editors of the catechism of the catechism of the catechism of the Catholic church.
At 99, he has a simple life in the Our Lady of Paraná monastery, located in the town of Aldea María Luisa, in the province of Entre Ríos. Accompanied by a community of Benedictine sisters, celebrates the Eucharist daily.
