The Congreso station on Line A of the Buenos Aires subway has an altar dedicated to the new Argentine saint Mama Antula, canonized on February 11 by Pope Francis.
It is a 40-centimeter sculpture, placed in a display case at said station, as a tribute to the consecrated laywoman born in Santiago del Estero, who founded her most important work in Buenos Aires: the Holy House of Spiritual Exercises.
The image of Mama Antula will remain at the station until March 8, so on Thursday the 7th, the day of her liturgical feast, the faithful will be able to stop by to express their devotion, leave a flower or offer a prayer.
