The Bishop of Avellaneda-Lanús (Argentina), Bishop Marcelo Margni, expressed his pain at the murder of a 14-year-old teenager, which occurred this weekend in Villa Tranquila, Avellaneda district.
“We were moved by the news of the death of Dante Ezequiel Canteros Barrientos, just 14 years old, after having been brutally murdered in our beloved neighborhood of Villa Tranquila, in Dock Sud, in the Avellaneda district,” the prelate said in a letter addressed to the Catholic community.
“We lack the words that can express our sadness, dismay and pain,” he said.
