“A young man, whom I don’t know, asked me to confess him anxiously, stating that someone had suggested to confess to me,” said the priest.

Mons. Condorhuamán said that “in the ‘supposed confession’ the young man told me that his brother was a friend of the Holy Father and that he had a photo with him, who are wealthy people and owned an artificial intelligence ‘X’ and that he was going to visit his father in Machu Picchu.”

“Not listening to any sin from the young man, I said: ‘Brother, this is a confessional to confess sins and be acquitted, you have not told me any sin so far. What do you want?'” The priest continued.

The question enraged the young man who began shouting “Socese words”; And asking him to retire, he started hitting him. “The faithful, hearing the subject’s screams, entered the sacristy and arrested the aggressor to cease their actions.”

Police intervention

The cathedral administrator was able to celebrate the Mass of 8, while “the police went to the sacristy to verify the facts.”

In his statement, the Archbishopric of Cusco said that, indeed, “the police authorities are already carrying out the investigations and proceedings of the case.”

According to the newspaper The Republicthe subject was taken by the police to the Cusco police station to be identified, since he did not have his ID, where he was arrested for physical aggression.
