Born on May 3, 1991, Carlo Acutis was a young Italian who from an early age lived a deep love of God, with a special devotion to Eucharistic miracles, which compiled in a digital exhibition that spread through the Internet. Sick of leukemia, Carlo died on October 12, 2006, at age 15. It was beatified on October 10, 2020.
Juan Carlos Carredano, CEO of CCC of America and executive producer of Carlo Acutis, the influencer of God, told ACI Press on September 4 that the animated film, which can enjoy large and children, “took about two years in its realization. From the concept, design, scripts, through the presentation and guide of Mrs. Antonia (Mama de Carlo), to the entire process of animation and postproduction.
“More than 50 professionals from around the world participated contributing their talents and adding their grain of sand to reach this production with a lot of heart and trying to maximize the essence of Carlo’s life,” said Carredan.
Carlo Acutis’s mother’s contribution
The producer of the animated tape explained that “1 year ago we could share the progress with Carlo’s mother, Mrs. Antonia, having incredible feedback and especially encouraging us to take the essentials of Carlo’s life everywhere.”

This, he said, is summarized in “the importance of the life of grace,” the true presence of Cristi in the Eucharist, “deep love and closeness with the Blessed Virgin; and love in action to other people.”
Antonia Salzano, highlighted the executive producer, “he told us incredible anecdotes like the ones Carlo saw our cartoons of Santos’s lives, gave us a first degree relic and dedicated the promotional poster of the film.”
The example of Carlo Acutis, the first Millennial Holy
CCC of America has already made other productions on Santos such as San Nicolás, San Patricio and San Francisco de Asís, as well as the Virgin of Fatima and Lourdes; And now they share this tape on the future San Carlo Acutis because, Candean explains, “today it is vital to share stories of people who transform the world for good, people who transcend and who mark a generation and what better than bringing the story of Carlo Acutis, who will be declared the first Millennial Holy.”

“Carlo teaches us that holiness is in everyday life and within the reach of all! All the time people ask us (A cc of America) continue producing hidden cartoons of saints and we had to share this story with everyone!” He said.
The producer also told ACI Press that once the exclusive premiere phase is over, “we will seek to share it on all possible platforms and in all languages. This message must reach everyone and inspire millions of children and adolescents.”
To conclude, Juan Carlos Carredano stressed that next Wednesday, September 10, “at the end of the General Court with Pope Leo XIV in Rome, I will greet him to give him the first copy of the film.”
