In an economic context of uncertainty and inflation, the Argentine hotel chain Amérian has good news: it will open its 24th hotel soon.
But also, this new property – which they are finishing building – is located in a trend-setting destination: Coria Chacrasin Mendoza.
It is not the first in the province. The chain already has another property in the provincial capital, and this opening seems to offer a more than interesting combination for tourists looking for a more urban option and a more rural option with the Amerian Chacras de Coria, and with a view of the Cordillera.
“We seek to capture in this property the spirit of Coria Fields: a substantial town, with a warm rusticity, harmonious, friendly,” said Augusto Bosshardt, CEO and developer of the hotel.
Where is that spirit that Bosshardt mentions seen or felt? “In the adobe walls of the Ranch, in the typically Mendoza patio, in the vine that houses the parking lot, in the gastronomic proposal that integrates the traditional cuisine of Mendoza with the Peruvian Andean cuisine,” explained Bosshardt.
For his part, Roberto Amengual, president of Amérian & Mérit Hotels, said: “Adaptation to the local personality of the destination is one of the keys to success of chain growth.
What is the new hotel like?
With opening date scheduled for February 2024the Amérian Chacras de Coria is a boutique hotel located in the heart of Luján de Cuyo, north of the province of Mendoza.

It has 40 rooms classic and superior rooms with views of the Andes, rooms for events and meetings, swimming pool, a large gourmet dining space and parking.

The history of Amérian Hotels
The origin of the chain is in 1992, when Engineer Martín Amengual inaugurated the first 4 star hotel in the city of Córdoba. Over the years he consolidated a unique know-how: knowledge of the market and experience.
In 2003, the chain opened its first hotel under the franchise system, establishing a new modality in the Argentine hotel industry and launched its new format of 3-star hotels under the Mérit brand.
In 2012, it introduced a new investment modality: the condo-hotel format, which allowed anyone to invest in hospitality with the purchase of a condominium unit.
At the moment, Amérian has 24 hotels (20 operational) in 18 destinations: Buenos Aires; San Fernando del Valle de Catamarca; Endurance; Villa Carlos Paz; Cordoba capital; Villa del Dique; Villa Maria; Mendoza; Puerto Iguazú; Jump Capital; Rio gallegos; Rosary beads; Rafaela; Río Hondo Hot Springs; Tucumán Capital; Aluminé; River IV; Leloir; Coria Farms; Jujuy, and in Uruguay it has a hotel in Montevideo.
