The Argentine Horacio Pagani continues to demonstrate why he is one of the best car builders in the world. He has just presented the Utopia Roadster, a super light sports car that weighs almost like a compact car and is capable of reaching 350 km/h.
This model arrives two after the launch of the Utopia Coupé, from which it differs because it allows the carbon fiber rigid roof to be removed in order to drive under the open sky.
Pagani Automobili announced the new example of the Italian house will be officially presented within the framework of the Pebble Beach Concours of Elegance, which will take place in mid-August in Monterey, California.
In total they will be manufactured 130 units that will be sold from 3.35 million dollars (plus taxes) each.
The C10 project, code name of the Utopia, was born with the dual nature of Roadster and Coupé like other models of the brand.
However, unlike the roadster versions of the Zonda and Huayra, which were designed from their respective coupe versions, here the development of the two variants was carried out jointly.

The design of the Utopia Coupé and Utopia Roadster is the work of the same team of designers and engineers working under the direction of Horacio Pagani in the Modena workshop.

The Utopia Roadster is equipped with the V12 biturbo engine that delivers infernal power of 864 horses and a torque of 1,100 Nm. It is a motor that continues to be manufactured by hand by a single operator in Affalterbach, headquarters of AMG (Mercedes-Benz sports division).
The technology used in the manufacture of materials is not limited only to carbon. For example, the eight suspension wishbones are forged from aircraft-grade aluminum alloy, while it also features titanium and special metal components and parts.
Another important detail is the Pirelli tires (21″ front and 22″ rear), equipped with advanced tire technology. sensors inside the tread which send information to stability control, traction and ABS brakes to ensure maximum performance and the highest level of safety depending on driving conditions.
