The prelate then remembered Blessed Eduardo Pironio, who was Bishop of Mar del Plata when the city turned 100 years old; as well as the canonization of Mama Antula this Sunday, February 11, the first Argentine female saint, in whose postulation she worked very closely.
In a brief message published in the red social XBishop Giobando commented that “unfortunately I could not travel to Rome due to my pastoral obligations in the Diocese of Mar del Plata. It has been a beautiful path that we have traveled in these months, now to enjoy this week with the pilgrims in Rome.”
The Apostolic Administrator of Mar del Plata also shared that they have prayed “so that the Lord grants us not only prosperity but also justice, peace. We can add work for everyone, honesty in those who carry out different responsibilities of this city.”
