The Pontifical Foundation said that with this initiative it seeks to “bring spiritual comfort” and demonstrate its closeness to the suffering people of Burmese, in addition to “asking for peace to return to this country and remember that, even in the midst of the darkest tests, hope And faith can be a light for the world. ”

Regina Lynch, Executive President of ACN International, said she is deeply moved by the difficult Burmese reality and explained that this day is “a unique opportunity for everyone to matter, regardless of their place of origin, they join in a collective prayer for peace and reconciliation”.
