After an extremely successful Holy Week for Bariloche – more than 80% occupancy was recorded – the authorities announced discounts up to 30% in different tourist areas to attract visitors during the autumn months.
To access, you must download Barichecka digital card that offers discounts to residents and visitors of the city during April and May.
Users will be able to obtain a price decrease 20% in gastronomy; 30% on accommodations; 20% in hostels and campsites, 25% in land excursions, 15% in lake excursions and 10% in other businesses, among which chocolate shops and car rentals stand out.
“We are confident that Baricheck will be a great relief to the pocketespecially for those who come as a family and with a limited budget but eager to enjoy everything the city has to offer,” said Sergio Herrero, Secretary of Tourism of the Patagonian jewel.
The city is betting on this initiative to try to maintain the good tourist rhythm even in the low season.
“The idea is repeat success of Holy Week, in part thanks to the success of the National Chocolate Festival,” said Herrero.
How to get discounts with Baricheck?
The first step to access the program is to enter www.barilocheturismo.gob.ar/baricheck/ and complete with personal information such as name, surname, nationality, province, telephone number and email and select the download option.
