“In this workshop we seek to teach each girl her value, the greatness of her body, the public and private parts, self-love and the love of God and her dignity as beloved daughters of God,” they explain in a message sent to ACI Prensa. .
The workshop will be taught by Mariandrea Cortés de Tovar, who with her daughter María Claudia Duran de Cortes founded “A different love” in Colombia, an initiative that promotes the Theology of the Body.
The Theology of the Body encompasses the set of teachings on love and sexuality that Saint John Paul II gave to the faithful between 1979 and 1984 in his general audiences.
