The Via Crucis of women arrives in Latin America

The Via Crucis of womenthe new book by Carlota Valenzuela, the young Spanish woman who made a pilgrimage on foot from Galicia to the Holy Land, has reached bookstores in Latin America and the United States.

These pages are the result of that experience that marked his life forever, a book that narrates the Passion of Christ through the eyes of the women who never abandoned him, like the Virgin or Mary Magdalene.

After its success in Spain, the second edition has crossed the Atlantic, a “dream come true” for the young Spaniard.

In conversation with ACI Prensa, Valenzuela explained that, since its publication last May, he received messages every day “from wonderful people in Latin American countries” asking how to acquire the book.

“That it is in bookstores in practically all Latin American countries and the United States gives me tremendous joy,” he commented.

She recalled that Argentina is like a “second home” for her, since she spent time on missions with her spiritual director after returning from the Holy Land.

He also feels a special affection for Guatemala and Paraguay, the country where he recorded with Father Aldo Trento an episode of his latest adventure, the series of make a messin which the true beauty of the Church is shown.

“There are so many countries that I feel are calling me to go and see the passage of God through each culture, each way of living the faith, each person who takes refuge under the mantle of the Virgin, that of Guadalupe, that of Caacupé, the of Luján, Copacabana, Chinquinquirá and many others, in whom we know we are cared for by our Mother,” he noted.

She also assured that she prays that God will allow her to “visit these wonderful countries soon, and be able to share the Women’s Way of the Cross with so many souls who make a pilgrimage, like me, to the feet of the Cross of Jesus on Calvary, accompanying Mary.” .

With his characteristic naturalness, he hoped that readers would underline, write and pray as they read this book, the fruits of which he wishes “remain hidden, in every house, on every nightstand,” and in every soul.
