Vatican: Program of Pope Francis’ visit to Trieste published

The Vatican today published what will be the program for the Holy Father’s next pastoral visit to Trieste on Sunday, July 7, on the occasion of the 50th Social Week of Catholics in Italy.

The Pontiff’s helicopter will take off from the Vatican for Trieste at 6:30 a.m. (local time) on Sunday and is scheduled to land two hours later at the city’s General Convention Center.

There he will be received by Cardinal Matteo Maria Zuppi, Archbishop of Bologna and President of the Italian Episcopal Conference; Mons. Luigi Renna, Archbishop of Catania and President of the Organizing Committee of the Social Weeks; Mons. Enrico Trevisi, Bishop of Trieste and other authorities.
