The “Transformed” apostolate begins in Spain during the month of the Sacred Heart of Jesus a campaign of testimonies from people who left the LGBT world “after an encounter with Christ, without any type of therapy.”
As reflected in a statement sent to ACI Prensa, “more and more people who have experienced an encounter with Christ are volunteering in this apostolate to publicly sing about their change in life.”

The promoters of this Catholic apostolate are convinced that these testimonies can offer “light to young people, adolescents and families on a topic in which there is a lot of general confusion.”
The people who are going to star in this tour are the Mexicans Rubén García and David Espitia.
García experienced homosexuality since childhood and then went through transsexuality and prostitution, until an encounter with Christ transformed his life. For years, he has been part of Couragea Catholic apostolate aimed fundamentally at accompanying those who experience same-sex attraction, as well as their families.
In addition, David García has written several books about his experience, among which stands out A homosexual reached by the mercy of God.
For his part, David Espitia is the youngest of a large family in which love never reigned. Beaten and abused since he was a child by family members and children older than him. Shortly after, at 11 or 12 years old, he began consuming pornography and, soon, abusing other children.
The sexual promiscuity of his youth was accompanied by drug addictions. Thus he began to give shows as a transvestite and to initiate himself into esoteric practices. One night of excesses he fell unconscious and was violated by several people and thought again for a moment about God.
It was not until a year later that he experienced a profound conversion before the Blessed Sacrament during a Catholic retreat, to which he had gone, as a Protestant, out of curiosity.
The tour will begin next Monday, June 10 at the Obispo San Patricio parish in Málaga (8:15 p.m.); On Friday the 14th, testimonies will be offered in the assembly hall of the Bishopric of Alcalá de Henares (8 p.m.) and on Sunday the 16th the apostolate will arrive at the parish of Santa María Magdalena de Ciempozuelos (Diocese of Getafe), at 7:00 p.m. h.
On Monday, June 17, the testimonies can be followed in Madrid, in the parish of Santísimo Cristo de la Victoria (8:00 p.m.). The next day, the Transformados apostolate travels to the Archdiocese of Barcelona, in the Corpus Christi parish of Barcelona (8:15 p.m.). The tour concludes on Friday, June 21 at the Church of San Ildefonso, in Madrid (9:00 p.m.).
