Flavio Quinteros, the missing prop man, was found dead

Last Monday, the young worker from 32 years who was affectionately called “Fede”, did not appear at the afternoon training session of the team led by coach Israel Damonte and nothing more was known about him. The coach had given them the weekend off after their debut in the Professional League, on Friday the 10th against Instituto.

According to information from Junín, Fede’s body “was found lifeless in a mountain”, in an area of ​​country houses near National Route 188, and Justice is already investigating the reasons that could have caused the death, although everything indicates because the prop man had decided to end his life. This hypothesis is mainly supported by a WhatsApp status on his cell phone that went viral in the last few hours.

According to police information, Quinteros was last seen in the vicinity of Borchex Park, the green space most frequented by the residents of Junín, about 1000 meters from the city center.

Since Monday, concern over Fede’s absence forced the club to make the search public through its networks, where it was reported that all the corresponding protocols were already being applied through the police authorities.

“We are searching for the whereabouts of Flavio Federico Quinteros, our club’s prop man, who disappeared on May 13 in our city, Junín,” Sarmiento’s message said.

This Thursday, the club said goodbye to Fede with an emotional post, where he declared the sadness and deep pain experienced in the institution.

“We thank the police authorities, municipal security, Justice, the press, national NGOs and the general public who echoed his search,” he closes.

On the sporting level, Verde must play this Friday against Barracas Central in the City of Buenos Aires, and Damonte decided to suspend the press conference that had been agreed for this Thursday, still in shock at the loss of a person very close to the affection of the entire squad.
