Within the framework of Mother’s Day, which is celebrated in Mexico this May 10, we share three special prayers to entrust mom to the Virgin Mary. The prayers have been prepared by Mons. Salvador Martínez, who until November 2023 was the rector of the Basilica of Guadalupe in Mexico City.
In his prayers, Bishop Martínez also entrusts Our Lady of Guadalupe to families in the face of “various threats that seek to destroy young people, disintegrate marriages and disrupt the stability of ours.”
In addition, he asks that the Virgin Mary pour out “her blessings and graces, so that we can face the challenges that the reality in which we live presents us and we can walk in peace.”
