The Vatican confirmed the announcement by the president of the Italian Council, Giorgia Meloni, about the participation of Pope Francis in the G7 session on artificial intelligence, which will take place from June 13 to 15 in Italy.
The G7 is made up of the United States, Japan, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Italy and Canada, and will meet to discuss the issue of AI in the town of Borgo Egnazia, in the Italian region of Puglia.
Vatican News noted on April 26 that the Vatican Press Office confirmed the words of Meloni, who in a video published on his Vatican account red social X announced that the Holy Father will attend the June meeting.
