Currently, the Monastery of the Visitation of Rome that guards the oldest image of the Virgin of Guadalupe is located at Via Galla Placidia 63. 14 cloistered nuns live in the Monastery, and four of them are Mexican.
As Sister María Inés, a nun of the Order of the Visitation, told ACI Prensa, “there has always been a lot of devotion on the part of the faithful as well.” In fact, every 12th of the month, they celebrate the votive Mass of the Virgin of Guadalupe.
