A study published by the Episcopal Conference of France reveals that during this Easter, more than 7,000 adults and young people have received the sacrament of Baptism, reflecting an exponential growth of catechumens in the country.
According to report released on March 27a total of 7,137 people have embraced the Catholic faith during this Holy Week, setting a new record that represents an increase of 30% compared to 2023.
The French bishops also highlight the increase in young people between 18 and 25 years old who have requested to receive the sacrament of Baptism during this Easter, reaching a figure of 5,025.
