It was one of the faithful who found the baby. “At first, the women didn’t know what it was, they approached and found that it was a baby, it was very strong, so they called the police while I was still giving mass,” the priest explained.
Medical and police personnel arrived at the scene, and late in the ceremony, Father Pratti was able to find out that they had already taken charge of the situation, so “there was no point in suspending it because everything was under control.”
The baby was quickly assisted, and even a police officer breastfed him. “Everyone was very good, the assistance he received and it was wonderful to see how that police officer breastfed him, it was very exciting,” added the priest.
