At the end of the General Audience this Wednesday, March 27, Pope Francis highlighted the example of Bassam Aramin and Rami Elhanan, a Palestinian man and another Israeli who lost their respective daughters in the war.
After giving his catechesis on the virtue of patiencethe Holy Father greeted Bassam Aramin and Rami Elhanan, located in the front row of the Paul VI Hall at the Vatican.
“Here today, in this audience, there are two people, two parents. They are the first: one Israeli and another Arab,” the Holy Father said before the thousands of faithful present in the audience.
