“Let us enter Holy Week from the inside, let us tune our hearts with the Heart of Christ, let it enter our lives,” encourages the Bishop of Córdoba (Spain), Mons. Demetrio Fernández in his last weekly letter on the occasion of Holy Week 2024.
Likewise, the prelate invites us to “repent and make a good confession of our sins to achieve forgiveness, and live the joy of being Christians, renewing the hope of reaching fullness and holiness.”
In the development of the letter, the Bishop of Córdoba invites us to move beyond the external preparations for the processions and liturgical acts both in the streets and in the churches, to go “into the interior of the heart” throughout Holy Week.
