Vatican: Pope Francis encourages studying the Catechism of the Catholic Church

Addressing the members of the Dicastery for Evangelization – Section for Fundamental Issues for the Evangelization of the World, Pope Francis encouraged them to promote knowledge and study of the Catechism of the Catholic Church, approved by Saint John Paul II in 1992.

“I encourage you to find ways so that the Catechism of the Catholic Church can continue to be known, studied, valued in order to respond to the new demands that are manifested with the passing of the decades,” said the Holy Father in his speech, which It was read by Bishop Filippo Ciampanelli at the meeting held in the Apostolic Palace of the Vatican.
