In a significant twist in the case of alleged sexual abuse that occurred in Tucumán involving four soccer players from Velezthe prosecutor’s office in charge of Eugenia Maria Posse pointed out that tthree of the four accused could be the perpetrators of the crimewhich could result in the arrest warrant being issued in the coming days.

Prosecutor Posse took a series of measures to clarify the case, including the raid of the hotel (Hilton) where the events allegedly occurred in search of evidence. According to sources close to the investigation, Images from security cameras were seized and measures were carried out in room 407, in addition to interviews with local staff.

Based on the evidence collected at the hotel and the evidence provided by the complainant’s lawyer, Patricia Nemethe prosecutor began to define the criminal responsibility of the four defendants.

The investigation indicates that Abiel Osorio, Braian Cufré and José Florentín Bobadilla remained in the room. Two of them left after committing the abuse, while the third remained at the scene and also left after committing the crime.

Prosecutor Posse also requested the creation of a Gesell Chamber, where the victim will be interviewed by professionals in the coming days, and the presence of the accused is expected in this procedural measure. However, there is concern about the risk of leakage, since the soccer players do not reside in the province and have the means to escape, especially considering that Sosa is Uruguayan and Bobadilla, Paraguayan. The Gesell Chamber is a method developed by American psychologist and pediatrician Arnold Gesell, designed to facilitate the interview of people in a controlled environment. This space consists of two rooms separated by one-way glass, equipped with audio and video systems.

Professionals specialized in mental health conduct the interview with the victims, allowing them to testify only once in the process without being subjected to revictimization, unless they express the desire to expand their testimony. Both accusers and defenders have the opportunity to ask questions they consider relevant. Subsequently, the specialists prepare a technical report that summarizes the observations made during the interview.

The complaint, made by the 24-year-old journalist, details that the events occurred after a meeting between Atlético and Vélez when the victim was invited by one of the players to the Hilton hotel. The young woman maintains that she was abused by several of the players present in the room.
