The president of Argentina, Javier Milei, stated this Wednesday that abortion “is a murder aggravated by the bond” and condemned the application of the so-called “voluntary interruption of pregnancy.”
The statement was part of a speech at the beginning of secondary school classes at the Cardenal Copello school in Buenos Aires, where he was a student.
The president, who during the campaign had assured that he was going to repeal the abortion law, also pointed out against the “murderers with green scarves”, referring to the insignia with which the militants of “legal, safe and free abortion” characterize themselves, the law approved in December 2020, at the beginning of Alberto Fernández’s government.
