Exorcist warns that celebrating Halloween is an implicit way of worshiping the devil

The exorcist Fr. Francesco Bamonte warns in a letter titled “The deception of Halloween, the beauty of All Saints” that celebrating Halloween is equivalent, even if unconsciously, to worshiping the devil.

The vice president of the International Association of Exorcists (IAE) explains that everything that is celebrated on Halloween – such as homicidal violence, the mockery of death and the macabre – is a “clear sign of a serious form of internal discomfort widespread in today’s society.”

Father Bamonte also denounces the “commercial machinery” that fuels this festival, which in turn “confirms the profound cultural transformations caused by secularization, with its contradictory recovery of the magical mentality that culminates in a neo-pagan renaissance.”

The true origin of Halloween

The Italian exorcist warns of the danger of instilling this in children and young people, and affirms that, in recent years, “occult and satanic circles, disguised under the label of cultural associations” organize shows in the weeks leading up to October 31 that are part of a precise strategy “that is not at all coincidental.”

Father Bamonte explains that this holiday has its roots in a pagan religious celebration called “Samhain”, which originated among the Celts and which today continues to celebrate the “new witchcraft of our time”, known as “Wicca”.

The exorcist specifies that Halloween is not at all a secular holiday, but rather “we are faced with an authentic representation and relaunch of a pagan religious festival during which magical rituals were performed with sacrifices of animals and even humans.”

“Also for the devil worshipers, the Satanists, the main holiday of their filthy celebrations – the beginning of the satanic year – is precisely that night,” he specifies.

Children implicitly honor the devil

Father Bamonte reiterates that promoting this festival, especially in schools, is of “unheard of gravity.”

“Those who celebrate Halloween, therefore, although they have no intention of joining witchcraft or celebrating the devil, in fact communicate with these dark realities,” he warns.

For Father Bamonte, Satanists are aware of this and are happy that Christians celebrate Halloween: “They are convinced that those who celebrate it implicitly honor the devil and, consequently, open themselves to his harmful influence.”

“This dark halo that surrounds Halloween makes the preparatory period for this holiday become a privileged moment of contact for children and young people with sects and groups from the world of the occult,” he remarks.

The exorcist regrets that the “culture of death” becomes normal for the little ones and warns that this phenomenon “has as a consequence the extinguishing of hope in new generations and the exaltation of despair and violence.”

The keys to stopping it

Father Bamonte affirms that to stop this phenomenon it is necessary to “favor a new evangelization”, that is, to transmit to new generations “the charm of the divine world in which we contemplate the wonderful beauty to which we are called and in which our existence is fully realized.”

The priest invites us not to forget the Feast of All Saints and to celebrate its beauty. To this end, it proposes different initiatives, such as processions of saints, the “Holywins” festival, hours of adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in reparation, distributing cards of saints and other proposals aimed at raising Christian awareness of the celebration of the festival of All Saints.

At the end of his writing he reiterates how important it is for Catholics to celebrate the saints, “who have given witness to God, the light and joy of existence and who with their intercession can obtain many graces.”
