They remember Gabriele Mock as the most famous exorcist of the twentieth century

Fr. Marcello Lanza, of the International Exorcist Association (AIE), reminded Fr. Gabriele Amorth, at 100 years of his birth, as “the most famous exorcist of the twentieth century.”

“Don Ameth was the most famous exorcist of the twentieth century because, with his great love for the ‘poorest among the poor’, he did not fear negative prejudices by communicating to the entire world the suffering that so many faithful experienced because of extraordinary diabolical phenomena,” said P. launches in an article published in the AIE website on June 9.

The Italian priest, who met the deceased P. Merth, stressed that “one of his main complaints was to point out the presence of Satan after the apparently harmless phenomenon of magic.”

Fr. Gabriele Mergh, born on May 1, 1925, “denounced Satan’s work after the illegal activities of the magicians, the danger hidden behind the spiritualist sessions, the propagation of Satanism and the black masses, but above all restored the spiny issue of evil in theology.”

Why did Fr. Miteh talk a lot about the devil and extraordinary diabolical phenomena?

Fr. Lanza explains that “from the analysis of his writings, his interviews, but above all he had known him, it follows clearly that the love of man moved him. In addition, his editorial apostolate, dedicated to demonology and exorcist practice, was based solely on the deep charity that he felt towards the victims of Satan, baptized and not baptized”.

“The psychological aspects of his strong and stable personality helped him not be afraid of talking about Satan everywhere, from the pulpit to television. But what allowed him to become famous was his mystical life, through which he reminded the world that those who were being exorcised needed the love of the church.”

In the opinion of Fr. Lanza, “the power of the priestly (of Merite) service was experienced when it helped the exorcised to free themselves from many damn objects expelled during the liturgical action of exorcisms, returning peace and serenity.”

The existence of Satan

This was done by Meroth, the exorcist continues, “remembering even more the theologians who denied the existence of Satan and their extraordinary action that this experience belongs to the exorcist liturgical teaching.”

“In the spiritual experience of Don Ameth, mystical life is a real conformation with Christ, which implies,” he explains in the exorcist’s sign (2013) – ‘An choice that entails a great spiritual battle. Because when choosing Christ, the devil unleashes, “he emphasizes.

After pointing out that “the mystical life and the fight against Satan are inseparable”, as “the late Pope Francis remembered throughout his pontificate,” Lanza thanked the exorcist Gabriele Amorth “for having remembered the church and the theologians that the mystery of redemption is, above all, liberation of Satan, enemy of God and of humanity, constantly active against man, constantly active against man, he has constantly active against man, he Envy of man ”.
