In this regard, San Juan Pablo II, in his apostolic exhortation Friendly fellowship He indicated that “the gift of the Holy Spirit is a life commandment for Christian husbands and at the same time stimulating impulse, so that every day they progress towards an increasingly rich union between them, at all levels – of the body, of character, of the heart, of intelligence and will, of the soul -, thus revealing to the Church and to the world the new communion of love, donated by the grace of Christ.”

Oh Holy Spirit God! Postrated before your Divine Majesty, we come to consecrate ourselves to you with everything we are and have.
By an act of the father’s omnipotence we have been created, by grace of the child we have been redeemed, and for your ineffable love you have come to our souls to sanctify us, communicating your same divine life.
From the day of our baptism you have taken possession of each one of us, transforming us into living temples where you morally with the father and son; And the day of confirmation was the Pentecost in which you descended our hearts with the fullness of your gifts, so that we lived a completely Christian life.
Remains among us to preside over our meetings; sanctifies our joys and sweetens our regrets; illuminates our minds with the gifts of wisdom, understanding and science; in hours of confusion and assistant doubts with the gift of the Council; not to pass out in the fight and work grant us your strength; that our whole religious and familiar life is impregnated with your spirit of mercy; and that we all move a holy and subsidiary fear so as not to offend you that you are holiness itself.
Assisted at all times for your gifts and thanks, we want to lead a holy life in your presence. That is why today we give you our family and each of us for time and eternity. We consecrate our souls and our bodies, our material and spiritual goods, so that you only have us and ours according to your approval. We only ask you the grace that after having glorified you on earth, we can all our family praise you in heaven, where with the father and son you live and queens for the centuries of the centuries.
