The Archdiocese of Liverpool raised its prayers by the victims of the massive outrage that occurred on Monday in that city, in which 47 people, including four children, were run over at the Liverpool FC parade, organized to celebrate the conquest of the Premier League of England.
“Our thoughts and sentences are with all those involved in the incident in Liverpool tonight,” says the archdiocese in a post published in its X account this May 26.

It is possible that the brief of the message is due to the fact that on Tuesday, May 27 at noon (local time) will assume the position of New Archbishop of Liverpool, Mons. John Sherrington, in a Mass that will be held in the Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King, where it is expected to offer a message for today’s tragedy.
According CNN in Spanish27 people were taken to the hospital, after the massive outrage, which occurred around 6:00 pm and by which a 53 -year -old man has been arrested.
David Kitchin, head of service of the North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust, reported that two people suffered “serious injuries”; while three adults and a child had to be rescued from under the car.
Nick Searle, head of the Firefighters and Rescue Service of Mersyside, also said that another 20 people were treated at the scene of the outrage, for having only minor injuries.
The Merseyside Police Deputy Chief, Jenny Sims, said the incident is not being treated as an act of terrorism.
