Trump pointed out that Pope’s brother, Louis, “is a big fan of magician”, referring to the campaign slogan “Make America Great Again”(Let’s make the United States big again).
“I hope to bring it to the White House,” Trump said. “I want to shake hands. I want to give him a big hug.”

Louis Prevost, resident of Florida, veteran of the United States Navy and older brother of Leo XIV, sat next to the second Lady Usha Vance at the Pope’s inaugural Mass on Sunday, May 18. He also accompanied Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio when the US delegation met with the Pope on Monday, May 19.
After the election of Leo XIV, who became the first Pope born in the United States, Louis Prevost granted several interviews with the media in which he expressed his joy for his brother and his confidence in his leadership. Subsequently, some media found publications in social networks in Louis that also evidenced strong support for Trump and criticism of the Democrats.
In An interview in “Piers Morgan Uncensored” On May 12, Prevost responded to the criticisms he received for some of his derogatory comments about the Democrats.
“I published it and I wouldn’t have done so if I didn’t believe it in part,” Prevost said. “However, I had no idea that what was coming (the choice of Leo XIV as Pope) would come so soon, and I can tell you that, since then, I have been very quiet, biting my tongue.”
“I don’t want to generate unnecessary stir because I am a supporter of Maga and I have my convictions,” he said. “I don’t need to generate problems to (Leo XIV). He already has enough to deal without the press saying ‘Pope’s brother says this.’ He doesn’t need it.”
When the US delegation met with Leo XIV, Vance He delivered the Pope A Trump letter inviting the Pontiff to visit the United States for a meeting at the White House. Leo XIV replied that he would make the visit “at some point.”
Vance told the Pope: “We will pray for you,” and added: “As you can imagine, in the United States people are extremely excited.”
