The Presidential Delegation of the Ñuble Region expressed its condemnation of what happened.
“As a Regional Presidential Delegation, we strongly condemn and repudiate the vandalization suffered by the Cathedral of Chillán, because nothing justifies the damage done,” he stated.
“This National Monument and one of the most representative attractions of the region and the country, is one of the most visited by parishioners year after year and one of the buildings that most represents and identifies us as Ñublensinos, so we call on the community to condemn these acts and work together to protect our heritage,” added the civil authority.
