The Coniam will take place from April 6 to 9 this year in the city of Valencia, and will have the support and presence of the local archbishop and president of the Venezuelan Episcopal Conference, Mons. Jesús González de Zárate.
The program will include conferences, workshops, testimonies and recreational activities that will make attendees live “indelible experiences.”
“In a society marked by inequality, violence and lack of hope, the
Church mission charges a special relevance. Children and adolescents, with their sensitivity and their ability to love, are agents of transformation and hope, ”says WPOs.
“Missionary childhood and adolescence is a valuable instrument to train children
and adolescents in the values of the Gospel and to promote solidarity with the
most needy children from the whole world, ”he adds.
The motto of the event will be Go and invite, for everyone there is place! (Based on Matthew 22, 9), with which the OMP want to motivate the participants “to get out of their comfort areas to reach communities in need of pastoral agents who share their faith, announce the gospel and actively cooperate in solidarity actions with the most vulnerable populations.”
