The project is located in Lobos, within a unique urban environment: a vast five -apple parkwhose spine is a pedestrian walk that runs parallel to the train tracks and links the station with the urban plot at its ends.
Was conceived as a Warm and enveloping meeting space. Inside, a series of courtyards invite you to discover a constant relationship between nature and people, allowing the building to “breathe” through these green gaps.
I seek that the House of Lobos’s culture is integrated in a respectful way with the park, preserving the continuity of the walk and at the same time leaving his own mark as auction of it.
The building is defined as a Great roof that through patios generates intimate situations, to connect and develop the activities that this new cultural space requires.
Los Workshops open towards those courtyardsgenerating intimate expansions where to be able to carry out the activities, along with a direct connection with the sky of wolves.

Las vaultsreinterpret the Modern language In a new public equipment program.
Architecture has the challenge of transcending over time. Inspired by the work of Antonio Bonet And its exploration of the curve and brick, I designed a cozy and warm space that plays with the light, the shadows and the surrounding nature.
The Cross ventilation Generated by the courtyards and the disposition of public and private spaces, they reflect a conscious search to create a space in balance. Beyond responding to the functional needs of a cultural space, the project aspires to become a reference for community meeting.

Comment from the chair
Since 2021, Taba – BUENOS AIRES ARCHITECTURE WORKSHOP He works in medium -scale cities in narrow contact with the rural. In 2021, San Vicente. In 2022, Marcos Paz. In 2023, Zárate. Finally, in 2024, we focused on the city of Lobos.
This proposes to rethink strategies regarding the scale and relations between the project, the site and the inhabitants of the territory.
The workshop, which in general worked between the city of Buenos Aires and the First ring of the conurbanotook the challenge in these last four years of rethinking the territory from an architecture between the city and the rural.

We highlight Ludmila’s work, in terms of the difficulty of solve a 3000m2 public building of program, within a large -scale urban piece, without strident gestures, without formal artifice and with great sensitivity.
As a premise, you understand the vegetation and the sky of wolves as part of the design of the House of Culture. Where a roof of vaults and patios, solves A building that is discovered little by little.

A vaulted plane that understands the plain, the Rural landscape and the low scale of the city, proposing a contemporary architecture, made with noble materials and typical of the place.
We believe in teaching to discover a located architecture, ours, ours already contemporary. Architecture that the Ludmila project reflects in its plans, images and model.
