THE HOUSE OF THE CULTURE OF LOBOS

The project is located in Lobos, within a unique urban environment: a vast five -apple parkwhose spine is a pedestrian walk that runs parallel to the train tracks and links the station with the urban plot at its ends.

Was conceived as a Warm and enveloping meeting space. Inside, a series of courtyards invite you to discover a constant relationship between nature and people, allowing the building to “breathe” through these green gaps.

I seek that the House of Lobos’s culture is integrated in a respectful way with the park, preserving the continuity of the walk and at the same time leaving his own mark as auction of it.

The building is defined as a Great roof that through patios generates intimate situations, to connect and develop the activities that this new cultural space requires.

Architecture has the challenge of transcending over time. Inspired by the work of Antonio Bonet And its exploration of the curve and brick, I designed a cozy and warm space that plays with the light, the shadows and the surrounding nature.
