Fiat released the update of the Tourthe benchmark compact pickup in its segment that arrives from Brazil with aesthetic changes and modifications in the conformation of your range
With more than 51 thousand units sold since its launch in 2016, Toro is the third best selling model of the brand in the local market during 2023, behind Cronos and the small Strada pickup.
The main novelty of this restyling is that all versions receive the front aesthetics of the top-of-the-range variant (Ultra), but with different finishes, colors, and design details in the wheel arches.
La Toro also comes with changes in the makeup of its range. On the one hand, the versions disappear Freedom y Ranch (both with turbodiesel engine); and on the other hand, it incorporates the Freedom S-Design with the well-known 1.8 gasoline engine with 130 horsepower.
Returning to aesthetics, the Freedom 1.8 AT6 4X2 version offers a new black grille, while the Freedom S-Design 1.8L AT6 4X2 adds logos and exterior and interior finishes in bronze, along with exclusive wheels.
For its part, the Volcano versions stand out for their nose with chrome edges, unlike the Ultra that comes with its graphite-colored front logo with a red outline and the new glossy black grille with red details.
Each version has its own wheel design, highlighting the 17″ diamond wheels with Off Road AT+ (Ultra) tires.
Mechanics and equipment
The mechanical offer remains the same: two gasoline engines (1.8 liters of 130 HP and 170 Nm, 1.3 liters, turbo, 175 HP and 270 Nm) associated with a six-speed automatic transmission (front-wheel drive) and a turbodiesel (2.0 with 170 HP and 350 Nm), linked to a nine-speed automatic transmission (4×4).
The Volcano and Ultra versions have a 10.1″ multimedia screen. In turn, the standard equipment offers Siete airbags (front, side, curtain and knee rail for the driver), headlights with LED technology, 16″ alloy wheels, maritime canvas, dual-zone climate control, 8″ touch screen with rear view camera, parking sensor, speed control cruise, leather upholstery, digital dashboard and wireless charger.
The intermediate Volcano adds autonomous emergency braking, lane keep assist, automatic high beams, 18″ wheels, electric seat, front parking sensor, keyless entry and start, rain sensor, automatic lighting and 10″ touch screen.
Lastly, the Ultra It has 17″ diamond wheels with off-road tires, side steps and a rigid lid on the box.
