The French Episcopal Conference indicated in its website that Bishop Étienne Guillet will receive episcopal consecration on February 15, 2025 in a Mass to be celebrated in the Saint-Denis Cathedral.

The Press Office of Vatican reports that Bishop Étienne Guillet was born on October 28, 1976 in Abbeville, in the department of Somme, diocese of Amiens.
He obtained a bachelor’s degree from the Ecole des hautes Etudes Commerciales du Nord (School of Higher Commercial Studies of the North), and studied at the Seminary Saint-Sulpice d’Issy-les-Moulineaux, at the Institut Catholique de Paris and at the Seminaire des Carmes , also in Paris.
He was ordained a priest on June 25, 2006 for the Diocese of Versailles.
He has held, among others, the following positions: Vicar of the parishes of the Mantes-Sud group and Head of Youth Ministry of the Deanery of Mantes-la-Jolie (2007); Porcheville Juvenile Prison Chaplain (2008).
He has also been vicar of the Parish Group of Houilles and Carrières-sur-Seine and Head of the Diocesan Service for Formation (2012); Parish Priest of Saint-Georges, Head of the Chaplaincy of Public Education in Trappes (2015); and he was until now parish priest of Mantes-la-Jolie and Episcopal Vicar for Charity and Mission.
