Colombia: Image of the Virgin of Fátima accompanied the prayer of the Rosary for the end of abortion

The Rosary prayers that the members of 40 Days for Life Colombia perform daily in front of two abortion centers in Bogotá, had the blessing of having been accompanied on Saturday by the image of the Virgin of Fátima that makes a pilgrimage through the country.

In this way, yesterday was a joint prayer meeting of pro-life activists with the members of Mission Fátima Colombia, the initiative in charge of the pilgrim image number 12 that arrived more than a year ago from the Sanctuary of Fátima in Portugal, where in 1917 the Virgin appeared to the three little shepherds.

For this reason, the company of the pilgrim image in the Rosary on October 19 has been “definitely a blessing from God, since it is a response that we are sheltered by the maternal mantle of Our Blessed Virgin Mary and obviously by the protection of God.” said Carmen Amanda Montealegre, coordinator of the prayer vigils in Bogotá.

The pro-life leader told ACI Prensa that in the Colombian capital they have twelve-hour daily prayer sessions and that the attack at the end of September will not make them desist from continuing to ask the Virgin to intercede with her Son for unborn children.
