Mauricio Artieda, founder of Catholic Link, explained to ACI Prensa that the pandemic revealed the need to make evangelization projects sustainable, which inspired this annual event.
“I made the decision to do some free consulting on digital evangelization and I came across the recurring problem of the sustainability of evangelization projects. “Almost all the founders I spoke to were about to close or abandon their projects for financial reasons,” he said.
“Believing that doing good with Catholic projects is associated with doing it for free… causes them to not grow,” Artieda added.
Faced with this reality, Artieda decided to share his own knowledge on digital marketing, entrepreneurship and finance, acquired after years of experience leading Catholic Link.
The Catholic Digital Entrepreneur Week It will offer practical tools to develop businesses with soul, capable of positively impacting communities.
The program is aimed at both beginners and those with more experience. “The majority of people who participate in Digital Entrepreneur Week are people who doubt their ability to undertake in the digital world,” says Artieda.
“I am very aware of this. The explanations I give and the path I propose is progressive, little by little,” he added.
Testimonies of Catholic entrepreneurship
A highlight of the event is the real impact it has had on participants from previous editions. Artieda recalls the testimony of a student who, after participating, managed to dedicate her life completely to her female entrepreneurship project, employing three people and helping more than 200 women with mentoring.
Another student, who is about to launch his first digital course, thanked Artieda for the support and shared knowledge, which allowed him to reach more than 20,000 subscribers to his Catholic reflections platform.
“These are the beautiful things about serving in this field and they seriously fill my heart with gratitude to the Lord,” Artieda shared.
