Horacio Pagani, the Argentine who created one of the most prestigious and exclusive sports car brands on the planet, has just launched his latest novelty: the Imola Roadster.

The new hypercar is built on the basis of the Imola and is the convertible with the better performance in the history of the Italian brand.

Its edition is limited to solo eight units and like the Imola, it is approved to circulate on the streets.

“At first, we wanted to create an open-top twin of the Imola Coupé, the vehicle introduced in 2020 that paid tribute to the legendary circuit. Then we took another approach: we combined the sophisticated technology of the Huayra Roadster BC with the design and aerodynamic principles of the Huayra track car A,” commented Lorenzo Kerkoc, director of Pagani Grandi Complicazioni.

It has Brembo brakes, with 398 mm front and 380 mm rear discs.

In addition to the bodywork, the other difference with respect to the Imola is its improved V12 engine, capable of delivering 850 horsepower (against 827 for the coupe) and a maximum torque of 1,100 Nm.

This 6.0-liter biturbo engine, built by Mercedes-AMG, allows you to achieve maximum speed limited to 350 km/h. And it is associated with a seven-speed sequential transmission.

Pagani has been developing advanced composite materials for thirty years, and the Imola Roadster is the culmination of research that seeks perfection.

The Pagani Imola Roaster wears Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires (265/30 R20 front and 355/25 R21 rear), which were created using new processes inspired by those used in Formula One.
