Spring begins, the sunnier days begin and many are already beginning to look for options for your vacation.

The beaches of Brazil are always tempting for the Argentine public: there are those who choose the south to reach by car; others search assembled packages with everything resolved and others are also contracting the different services separately as they advance in their planning.

Argentina is the main issuer of international tourists to Brazil. However, in the first six months of 2024, this destination registered a 9.4% decrease in the volume of Argentine tourists.

We will have to see how next summer 2024/2025 turns outin a context where the dollar remains without major jumps in Argentina and little by little rentals are beginning to be listed on the Atlantic Coast and other options in the country.

“Brazil is selling well, but there is no rush to hire the holidays 2025,” says Pablo Bazzetti, manager of the All Seasons agency.

Explain that, in the current context, saying that it sells a lot or a little is relative.

Part of his explanation is based on the fact that Brazil became a competitive destination. In this agency, January is the month with the most reservations registered for Brazil, and currently exceeds February by almost 50%. For the low season months, October also leads in the number of trips to Brazil with flights to Rio and packages to Buzios.

“For several years Brazil was close but could not lead in sales. This year seems to have revenge and is consolidating as the preferred destination of Argentines more than 3 months in advance of the summer holidays,” adds Boutet.

At the Despegar agency, Brazil consolidates itself as the international destination most sought after by Argentines for the summer. Among the causes they mention a favorable exchange rate, the fame of its beaches and the diversity of proposals.

“For January and February, the 50% of international searches are concentrated in this country. Rio de Janeiro leads as the most chosen city, representing 40% of interest in international destinations,” says Alejandro Festa, manager of Accommodations and Tourist Services of this agency.

From Promos Aereas, a blog specialized in finding good prices, they notice a increase in demand for this destination, especially Florianópolis, Rio de Janeiro and, further north, Salvador, Fortaleza and Maragogi or Porto de Galinhas. And remember that it is not an expensive destination in summer since it is rainy season.
